Falmouth Docks

Superb waterside facilities

The 5 hectares at Falmouth Docks include 2 hectares of new wharf space on reclaimed land and 360m of new quayside. The land at Falmouth will be used for early stage technology development, deployment, recovery, fabrication and maintenance operations.

A&P own key areas of Falmouth Docks and they have been at the heart of the marine renewables sector in Cornwall for many years. The docks have been used for the assembly, deployment and recovery of devices to/from Fabtest and Wave Hub and they offer lay-down space, access to deep water berths, wharves and engineering and fabrication capacity.

The Enterprise Zone includes 360m of new quayside and two hectares of new wharf space on reclaimed land. When delivered, this will significantly increase the capacity of the port to deploy, recover, store and assemble wave devices. A&P have also identified a site currently occupied by redundant buildings which could be redeveloped for new engineering workshops (approx. 9,000sqm), if demand arises for on-site fabrication.
